Half of US homicides go unsolved, ranking last among Western nations

Thomas Hargrove, the founder of The Murder Accountability Project, stated that the murder rate has declined from 71% in 1980 down to almost 50% in 2020. America is now the only developed country where the majority of homicides remain unsolved.
