The Simi Valley Police Department released a photograph of the sign that included the words “Ron DeFascist” written in spray paint.

According to police, one of the library’s entrance signs was vandalized at 7:27 AM by employees.
“The graffiti was done in black spray paint and read, ‘Ron DeFascist,'” Read the press release from the department.
SVPD reported This “the Library employees were able to remove the graffiti ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ visit later today.”
The department stated that the sign had been vandalized over night and there weren’t any witnesses. Further, it stated: “There is no indication of threats or any other crimes.”
“It was unfortunate that the Reagan Library sign was vandalized but thankfully we were able to clean it up before we opened to the public (or before the event started). We believe in free speech and always allow protestors to protest on our campus, but we never support vandalization of public or private property,” Melissa Giller was the chief marketing officer for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.
