Report: Two Kidnapped Americans Found Dead in Mexico

MEXICO CITY (Reuters)—Two of four Americans who went missing on Friday in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas are alive, and two are dead, the state governor said Tuesday on a call with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador during a news conference.

ABC News reports that Latavia was among the kidnappers. “Tay” McGee and Shaeed Woodard. Zindell Brown and Eric James Williams.

Separately, a Mexican official said to Reuters Tuesday that two dead men were found. According to the official, both the woman and the other man are safe, and they have been taken into custody by authorities.

Lopez Obrador received a call from Tamaulipas Governor Americo Villarreal stating that one of the survivors had sustained injuries.

Lopez Obrador stated that one person was being held in connection to the kidnapping.
