Melania Trump supports women’s suffrage monument bill

Melania Trump, ex-First Lady, supported Tuesday’s dedication of a monument on the National Mall to the Women’s Suffrage Campaign.
Her former First Lady sent tweets to over 2 million of her followers.
Trump stated that the monument would be constructed. “tell the unique, moving and powerful stories of women throughout American history.”
It comes in just time for Women’s History Month. H.R. 1318, the Women’s Suffrage National Monument Location Act. Representatives Joe Neguse, D-Colo. and Debbie Lesko, R-Alaska brought 1318 to the House’s floor last week.
It would be a law “authorize the location of a monument on the National Mall to commemorate and honor the women’s suffrage movement and the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.”
As honorary co-chairs, Dr. Jill Biden and Melania Trump are the first ladies. Rosalynn Carter is the former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. This organization spearheads the effort to create a monument for women on the National Mall.
This organization is committed to promoting change through the establishment of a national monument “to commemorate women’s fight for the vote and honor the pioneers of the early American movement for women’s equality.”
In December 2020, the number of 45 was back.Th Donald Trump signed legislation allowing for an outdoor memorial to suffragists. To install it on the National Mall, however, Congress must act.
