Freedom Caucus members laugh at idea McCarthy could cut debt deal with Biden

House Freedom Caucus mThe embers Laughed at the suggestion of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), may strike a deal to reach an agreement with Democrats on the debt ceiling.

At a Friday press conference that was attended by Reps. Clay Higgins, Michael Cloud, Bob Good, Bob Good (R–VA), Andy Biggs, Andy Biggs, (R–AZ), Chip Roy, (R–TX), Ralph Norman, (R–SC), Lauren Boebert, (R–CO), and Scott Perry (R–PA), the group presented their proposal for managing the debt limit. It described it as an attempt to “shrink Washington and grow America.” Perry answered reporters’ questions after their proposal pitch.
