Russian fighter jet collides with U.S. drone causing it to crash into Black Sea

The propeller of an American Air Force drone was struck by a Russian fighter jet, causing it to crash into the Black Sea. “unsafe and unprofessional” intercept.
Two Russian Su-27 fighter aircraft flew over the MQ-9 Reaper drone from international waters west to Crimea, according to US European Command (USEUCOM). This occurred at 7:03 AM (CET). According to the USEUCOM statement, one of the fighters had clipped the propeller of a drone, resulting in the U.S. forces having to bring down the MQ-9.

USEUCOM reported that a “pattern of dangerous actions” Russian pilots in international airspace around American aircrafts. According to the U.S intelligence agency, this incident was classified as “dangerous” He warned that any further confrontations with Russian military aircrafts could lead to more danger “miscalculation and unintended escalation.”
