‘The View’ Host Says She Hasn’t Gone Grocery Shopping In 3 Years Because Of COVID

Sunny Hostin Wednesday’s confession by the woman revealed that she has been unable to grocery shop for three years because of fear of COVID.

Hostin During ABC’s midday talk program, the confession was made “The View,” According to her, once the pandemic hit, she relied on Instacart and other delivery services for all of her shopping.

The conversation began with co-host Joy Behar, who said that she had never ordered from Instacart and that she actually enjoyed going to the grocery store herself — and Hostin said that she did not share that opinion.

“I haven’t been in a supermarket [since] COVID — for about three years. That’s when I discovered Instacart. I give them a big tip because they don’t always pay their people well and it’s — so that’s been an issue I think for the company,” Hostin spoke. “But man, you can get toiletries, you can get fire logs, you know those big Bounty towels you don’t want to carry? Somebody else goes.”

Behar responded by saying that she was enjoying the experience. “meandering” To decide what she wanted, she walked down the aisles.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Behar whether she was ever stopped by people who recognized her while she was out shopping — and Behar said that the only people who ever stopped to talk to her seemed to be fans of former President Donald Trump.

“I talk to them,” She spoke, prompting laughter from all around the table. “I say, ‘Why exactly do you like him?’ I’m interested to know why they like him. And then they give me Fox News and then I walk away and go shopping. But I like to engage people who disagree with me.”
