How ‘Terrorists Of The Mind’ Weaponize Section 230 and ‘Islamophobia’ For Character Assassination
Nohemi Gonzalez was a 23-year old American student who was killed by Muslim militants on Nov. 13, 2015. This occurred amid terrorist attacks in Paris that left 130 dead and 400 injured. Soon thereafter, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks by writing “the scent of death will not leave their nostrils as long as they partake in the crusader campaign, as long as they dare to curse our Prophet.”
Gonzalez’s family lawyers met earlier in the month. Arguments before the Supreme Court That social media companies “aided and abetted” By providing them with a forum in the overseas, terrorists can be stopped.
The Supreme Court Should be the rule In favor of the Gonzalez family, Congress closes loopholes allowing social media platforms to avoid liability for what they post. This isn’t a problem only in other countries. Masked radicals can also be allowed to join my Muslim community through social media platforms In the United States They have full control over their platforms and are protected from criticism by terrorists and extremists abroad.
They attack Muslims by claiming they insult Islam, Muhammad the prophet, or Muslims using a fabricated word. “Islamophobia.” This strategy is featured in the third observation of the Week. “International Day to Combat Islamophobia” March 15, United Nations “officially” After years of lobbying by hardline Muslim nations in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (which uses), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation recognizes that day. “Islamophobia” to divert attention from Muslim radicalization.
In a New book “Woke Army: The Red-Green Alliance Destroying America’s Freedom,” A domestic character assassination program that spans twenty years was discovered by me. It was started after 9/11. They harassed Muslim reformers who question extremist Islam interpretations. “Islamophobe.” The network discredits its enemies and forms an unholy alliance to the Democratic Party.
This character assassin was not located far from me, but here in the United States. They also run Loonwatch.com, a disinformation website. It was started by CAIR, an organization in Washington, D.C. that has tax-deductible status. It claims to be the largest in the country. “civil rights” Organization for Muslims while secretly publishing character assassinations against its perceived enemy.
On the night of Gonzalez’s attack, I was backstage Interview with HBO Bill Maher talks with me about my work in reform and feminist Islam. I looked at my mobile phone. Loonwatch’s Anonymous Twitter Account @LoonWatchers had just attacked and mocked me, mocking Maher. “intellectual cowardice.”
Loonwatch’s handlers as well as related anonymous accounts have been targeting me as a victim for many years. “native informant,” “Islamophobe,” “Zionist media whore” With all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases and blasting Israel for being a terrorist country “Satanic state.”
My son then 10 years old, leaned on me and said, “I wept in the parking lot at a Dairy Queen, Herndon, Va. over such false personal attacks.” “Mom, stop crying. They’re terrorists of the mind.” He was right. They use America’s freedoms for their own ends, just like political terrorists.
26 words are the core of the Supreme Court case Section 230(c),(1) of the 1996 Communications Decency Act that internet companies use to protect themselves from liability for the words published on their platforms. Section 230 says: “No provider nor user of an Interactive computer service shall be considered as the speaker or publisher of any information provided to them by another information content provider.”
Bad actors know that Big Tech hides behind Section 230 and use it to weaponize the internet. In 2018, I sued my friend for defamation. “John Doe” attackers. I also sued internet service providers who gave these character assassins a global platform. Perkins Coie lawyers for Twitter fought me, citing The “free speech” Rights of the character assassins Google and Facebook ignored my subpoenas.
Disqus, which hosts comment boards, and GoDaddy, which registers websites didn’t. One day I managed to obtain GoDaddy’s Loonwatch file and internet protocol address. These numbers are unique identifying numbers that can be used on computers under Loonwatch aliases.
This was what I found out on April Fool’s Day 2009 as the Islamic State emerged abroad, at 20.33:38. “Zuhair Thomas” Loonwatch.com registered with GoDaddy “Zuhair” created the account for the platform for anonymous character assassins with the names of fish — including “Emperor,” “Garibaldi,” “Danios,” “Darter” — to hide their identities.
Muhammad Tauseef Akbar was a CAIR official. “Garibaldi” “Zuhair,” According to internal GoDaddy documents, which I have detailed in my book. These documents revealed that Ahmed Rehab, another CAIR high-ranking official, paid the bills with a credit card and wrote under his moniker “Emperor.”
Loonwatch was used by these keyboard warriors to harass other keyboard warriors “loons” Who spoke out against Muslim extremists like Nohemi Gonzalez’s killers. Wajahat Ali is an emerging writer. Published articles Loonwatch was aware that he was supporting a disinformation program. He is now a columnist for Daily Beast and was until recently a contributor in The New York Times op–ed section.
Sources claim that Omid Safi (a Duke University professor of Islam) had died in April 2013. “Emperor” Post Column by Safi Loonwatch is against me It Targeted me Other as “Islamophobes,” As part of a larger global network I called an “Honor Brigade” silencing debate on Islam. Requests for comment from Ali and Safi were not answered.
Over the years, Loonwatch writers attacked Muslim reformers such as physician Zuhdi Jasser and writer Raheel Raza, as well as ex-Muslims — including Somali-American author Ayaan Hirsi Ali — and atheist influencers including Maher, scientist Richard Dawkins, and author Sam Harris. Loonwatch has decried conservatives in general as well as the FBI and the US military, Israel, and more recently Hindus and India.
Loonwatch published apologetics against Islamic extremism. It was part of the lobby that made the foundations. Foundation Obama declared the Islamic State not to exist. “Islamic.” Javad Hashmi, an Iranian physician, posted on Twitter late in 2021 that he was a “remarkable” doctor. “Danios,” writing: “A decade ago I dedicated myself to this task, writing as Danios of LoonWatch, & today the task has been completed.”
A few moments later, Shahed Amanullah, a technology entrepreneur, appeared. replied: “I’ve been sitting on this well-kept secret for most of the last decade.”
It was actually longer. Ironically, two years after Loonwatch was founded, the Obama administration made Amanullah a senior State Department advisor in 2011. “empower change-makers in online/offline spaces.” He became a part of the expanding nexus between Big Tech character assassins and the federal government.
Amanullah was the government’s award-giving agent. called Loonwatch’s writers include the Brass Crescent, “Danios.” Amanullah is now the global vice president of customer services at Frost and Sullivan in Mountain View, Calif. and the managing director of Frost Capital in Palo Alto.
Hashmi Now works As “director of research and strategic communications” The Muslim Public Affairs Council is another large organization that claims to protect civil rights. Making YouTube videos That amounts to religious propaganda. He was recently called me A “self-hating native informant, Islamophobe, right-wing shill, & grifter.” It was par for course.
Loonwatch, and other platforms that denounce Muslim reformers, was aided by terrorists just like all propagandists. They did it with the support of Big Tech. They now play the victim, taking part in forums, panels, and programs this week “countering Islamophobia” Starting at Doha, QatarTo. Washington, D.C.
The 20-year struggle to write this book required suffering from these keyboard warriors. Sometimes, the ugliness of their smears paralyzed me at times. However, my parents were there to support me. When we had to fight woke indoctrination in 2020, I was supported against repeated smears. “domestic terrorists,” “Disinformer,” “QAnonmom” And even more “white supremacist.”
We must, of course, protect free speech. However, free speech protections don’t cover libel. Overseas and domestically, internet companies must be held responsible for giving propagandists a megaphone—including when they are Muslim supremacists, like a cadre of “terrorists of the mind” Who took the names fish to wage an arduous war against America and protect terrorists such as the young Nohemi Gonzalez.
