‘Left-wing Mad-Libs’: Former MSNBC host blasted for comparing ‘woke’ to the ‘N-word’
FToure Neblett, former MSNBC host, has compared the term “woke” The “N-word.”
“At this point woke is a slur,” Neblett was once the host of MSNBC’s. The Cycle, tweeted. “The way the right uses it is an undercover way of saying “those people,” or “non-white people.” It’s a polite way of saying the n-word but in this case the n-word includes Blacks, LGBTQ folks, and other marginalized groups.”

Neblett’s description sparked a firestorm on Twitter, as he disputed other definitions of the term and called them “false”. “white victimhood,” “revenge,” Oder “buzzwords.”
Christopher F. Rufo, a conservative commentator, blasted Neblett’s playing. “Left-wing Mad-Libs.”
“You’re playing left-wing Mad-Libs,” Rufo tweeted. “When you say that ‘woke’ now means the ‘n-word’ and includes ‘LGBTQ folks’ in order to uphold ‘white supremacy,’ you degrade the meaning of all of those words in order to whip up fantasies that justify your political ideology.”
Neblett maintained the same stance and said that the term was acceptable. “woke” It had been a “dog whistle way of saying the N-word.”
Soledad O’Brien, a former CNN host, claimed that the term was used with racial undertones.
