FBI and Secret Service behind covert agreement stripping citizen’s gun rights, documents show
EXCLUSIVE — TThe U.S. government made a plea deal with a defendant, requiring them to sign a secret document. This was not authorized by Congress and was rescinded. “unconstitutional” Documents show that Republican legislators have taken away their right to purchase, own or use firearms.
The FBI, Secret Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement worked together to collect signatures from at least 60 U.S. citizens who were stripped of their gun rights. These records and many others are new. Washington Examiner reports. At least one case showed that the Secret Service and the Bureau worked behind closed doors in conjunction with a government prosecutor, who may have conditioned the signing of the form to be part of a legal matter. WATCHDOGS ARE CONCERNED ABOUT FBI TRIPPING GUN RIGHTS FROM CITIZENS
“Dear Agent [redacted],” This is a June 10, 2019 letter that a lawyer wrote to a Secret Service agent in West Palm Beach. “You will find enclosed the NICS firearm form which has been signed by my client and his doctor. This is being provided in compliance with [redacted] plea agreement. Yours sincerely.”
It’s not known what the 2019 defendant was accused of or why the FBI/Secret Service were involved. The FBI removed the case # from the document. It was obtained through Freedom of Information Act by Gun Owners of America and shared with them. Washington Examiner.
Second, the reason the government used the form is not known. This is required before the government collects any information from the general public.
“There’s a bit of a contradiction,” Gilbert Ambler, a Constitutional Attorney who specializes in firearms laws, spoke to The Washington Examiner. “They’re having you agree you’re incompetent. If you’re incompetent, how is that a binding agreement?”
Ambler has been added “It’s an example of something more nefarious, which is individuals within the government pursuing a goal of disarming people. That is not something supported by our legislature. In fact, it is contrary to what our legislature has done because there are set forth conditions on when somebody can be disarmed.”
Ambler specifically mentioned the Gun Control Act of 1968. He noted that there are “established conditions” a person loses their gun rights. If a person is not allowed to own firearms, the act provides that they may be exempted from this right. “adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to a mental institution” But it doesn’t mention that people can make themselves unfit to own guns.
“Any person who has been ‘adjudicated as a mental defective’ or ‘committed to a mental institution’ is prohibited under federal law from shipping, transporting, receiving, or possessing any firearm or ammunition,” According to the Gun Control Act document by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “Violation of this federal offense is punishable by a fine of $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to ten years.”
Documents don’t indicate that the 2019 plea agreement signed by the defendant was ruled guilty. “mental defective,” A legal term that refers to people who are found to be insane or incapable or placed in a mental institution.
After the Washington Examiner It was reported that the FBI worked in secret with hospitals and medical centres to remove at least five U.S. citizens from their gun rights.
Many watchdog groups expressed concern about the FBI’s collaboration with private medical facilities and public hospitals following this report.
“Frustratingly, every day, there seems to be a new revelation of the FBI working to violate the rights of American citizens,” Tom Jones, President of the American Accountability Foundation and a conservative watchdog told the Washington Examiner, urging the Republican-led Select Subcommittee on the Warirization of the Federal Government (SSC) to open an investigation.
House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-OH), also heads the weaponization subcommittee. He has previously pledged to investigate the FBI regarding the gun forms.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R. Georgia) and more then a dozen other lawmakers demanded evidence from the FBI and Justice Department that the forms weren’t being used anymore. A month later, Rep. Andrew Clyde (R.GA), sponsored a resolution that requested Attorney General Merrick Grland turn over documents relating to the forms. It was rejected by Democrats.
The FBI and Secret Service didn’t respond to our requests for comment.
