Big Mac Prices Skyrocket Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic

The famous Big Mac burger sold at McDonald’s has reportedly increased its price by roughly 22% since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, now averaging at $5.15 dollars, according to CashNetUSA study.

The study revealed that Hawaii has the most expensive Big Mac at $5.31, followed by New York at $5.23 and New Jersey at $5.19 while Mississippi offers the cheapest one at $3.91 across all of McDonald’s 13,000-plus domestic locations.

“As their latest campaign suggests, a capital M means McDonald’s anywhere that people have eyebrows to raise (i.e., everywhere),” the study read.
