Fauci ‘Stooges’ Now Claim Raccoon Dogs Caused COVID. Virologists Say They’re Wrong.

A group of scientists who previously dismissed the theory that COVID-19 leaked from a Chinese lab are now claiming that raccoon dogs sold for consumption in a Wuhan wet market caused the pandemic. According to Rutgers University professor Richard Ebright, the scientists’ claim is “pseudoscientific nonsense” and it is based on data from Chinese scientists that has not been peer-reviewed or made available for independent evaluation. The lead researchers behind the study have a history of promoting sensational claims to the media to distract from the lab leak theory. Additionally, the data they present do not provide conclusive evidence of raccoon dogs infecting humans with COVID-19.

Lawmakers are currently investigating the origins of COVID-19, and several independent virologists and intelligence agencies believe that the virus was likely leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Emails uncovered in March revealed that Dr. Anthony Fauci prompted Andersen and another researcher in February 2020 to create a paper that aimed to disprove the theory that the virus leaked from a lab.

The house recently voted unanimously to declassify all intelligence about COVID-19’s origins, and the Senate passed its own version of the measure earlier in March. President Joe Biden has not yet decided whether to sign the bill.
