Trump Attacks DeSantis After Gov Slammed Soros-Funded D.A., Cited ‘Hush Money’: Minors, Or ‘A Man’ Might Accuse DeSantis
Former President Donald Trump has criticized Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis for comments he made against Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney, who reportedly intends to charge Trump. DeSantis slammed Bragg for “weaponizing” the justice system and for being funded by George Soros, while also making a reference to the alleged “hush money” Trump paid to Stormy Daniels. Trump responded with a social media post that alluded to the possibility of DeSantis being “unfairly and illegally attacked by a woman, even classmates that are ‘underage’ (or possibly a man!)”. DeSantis, who faces criticism from Trump as he considers entering the 2024 presidential race, responded by saying that he spends his time “delivering results for the people of Florida and fighting against Joe Biden,” not “trying to smear other Republicans.” Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk claimed that sources close to DeSantis confirmed that the governor “will not aid Bragg if he indicts Trump.”
