Pentagon probes security clearance issue for Boeing staff working on Air Force One

If a current employee escorts and attests to them with the necessary documentation, staff members whose certifications are still pending may continue to work on the plane in the restricted areas, according to sources.

The data issue, according to the Air Force, did not cause any delays in the operations on the upcoming air force One fleet, and the aircraft’s schedule was unaffected. By September 2027, the first of the two latest aircraft should be delivered.
