Rand Paul: I Wouldn’t Vaccinate My Children for COVID Over Myocarditis Risks
Sen. Rand Paul( R-Ky. ) declared on Thursday that he would not vaccinate his own children for COVID-19 because numerous studies have shown that myocarditis, a type of heart inflammation, is more likely to develop after vaccination.
During an interview on The Hill’s” Rising,” Paul expressed worries about the risks of heart disease for kids, arguing that having a negative backlash after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is worse than contracting the virus.
The Republican lawmaker said,” Frank to God, I haven’t immunize my kids for COVID.” The dangers of the vaccine, in my opinion, are greater than the risks associated with the problem. The disease’s dangers are nearly nonexistent.
Paul advises parents who are still considering getting their children immunized to reduce the number of doses, explaining that after the second dose, younger people, particularly men, are at a higher risk of myocarditis.
But let’s say your stance is somewhere in the middle; you believe that three doses are excessive — how about one? he remarked.
Well, the next vaccination is responsible for 90 % of disease, he continued. If your children also had COVID, I don’t believe they need it at all. However, if you wanted to administer a vaccine, why never administer one sooner rather than three?
” Decreased Risk”
Paul also charged Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel with lying during the meeting on Thursday after he asserted that boys between the ages of 16 and 24 who received the COVID-19 vaccination had a lower disease risk than those who did not.
Before entering into proof peer-reviewed study from the Journal of Vaccines and Annals of Medicine stating” the perfect opposite” of the Information information, Paul told Bancel,” That is not fair.”
The senator continued,” The fact that you didn’t mention it in public is very disturbing. I also spoke with your leader just last week, and he freely acknowledged in personal that, yes, there is an increased risk of disease.”
Paul speculated that the Moderna CEO” saw this as a market decision that may harm sales” when asked to comment on Bancel in opposition to what peer-reviewed research has found.
Paul told Fox News Digital,” He just seemed more evasive than he was truthful.” I was genuinely shocked that he wasn’t more direct. It’s not like this is a secret information, after all. It’s been available for a while.
He continued,” We entered into the report six journal articles that have been peer reviewed, talking about an elevated or increased risk of disease.” ” I suppose I was disappointed he wasn’t more with with it.”
Bancel spoke in support of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions’ conclusion to significantly raise the price of COVID-19 a during a hearing on Wednesday.
According to Moderna’s proposal, the price of the vaccine will rise to$ 130 per dose once the government no longer participates in its purchase and delivery, which is roughly four times the cost at which it was sold to the public during the pandemic.
Heart Injuries After Vaccination
Many health professionals and others looking into the issue have also noted the trend of heart inflammation following COVID – 19 vaccination.
Heart failure and even suicide have been reported in patients who received the COVID-19 vaccine, according to a current study that was published in the British Medical Journal in February.
Additionally, it is believed that being infected with COVID-19 increases the risk of brain injury. This is mainly caused by the internal disease that the virus inflicts on the body.
In the experiment, researchers discovered that 530 versus 109 more people developed disease after receiving the COVID – 19 immunization than after contracting the disease. Myocarditis has been a primary or secondary analysis for hospital admission since the beginning of the pandemic for people 12 years of age and older.
The risk of developing disease in young men between the ages of 16 and 19 is estimated to be 1 in 15, 000, according to the American Heart Association, citing Israeli study.
Children as young as six months old are advised to receive COVID-19 vaccines, including one updated booster dose, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention( CDC ). Negative emotions, or serious health issues, are uncommon, but” may cause long-term health challenges ,” according to the organization.
