Female College Hoops Player Charged With Assault After Punching Opponent

Jamirah Shutes, a person for the Memphis Tigers, has been charged with rape after appearing to blow Bowling Green State University person in the face after their game on Thursday in Ohio during the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.

The Bowling Green State University Police Department has charged a resident of the Memphis Women’s Basketball team with rape in response to the incident physical incident that occurred on Thursday following the WNIT home game, according to BGSU.

Memphis immediately tweeted a tweet containing the final score and disabled the potential for social media users to leave comments.

On Monday, March 27, Bowling Green will host the Florida Gators in the tournament’s last round at Stroh Center.
