More than 6 in 10 do not want Trump as president: Poll
More than 6 in 10 adults do not want former President Donald Trump, who appears to be on the verge of being indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, to be elected president again.
Nearly 61 % of adults, according to a Marist poll, oppose Trump’s reelection as president. 38 % of adults want to see Trump for another four days.

The majority of registered Democrats, 89 %, and independents, 64 %, oppose Trump running for president once more. That stands in stark contrast to the registered Republicans, 76 % of whom support Trump’s reelection.
White evangelical Christians who support Trump by a 55 % to 41 % margin saw lukewarm numbers, and 17 % of those who voted for Trump in 2020 say they do not want him to be president again. Eighty-one cents of former Trump supporters expressed support for a second term in office.
The survey also revealed that, contrary to what the former president has claimed, 56 % of adults believe the investigations into Trump are” fair” and 41 % think they are a” witch hunt.” The majority of adults — 46 %— believe that Trump violated the law, 29 % believe he did something unethical but not unlawful, and 23 % believe Trump did nothing wrong.
1, 327 parents participated in the crown, 1, 226 of whom are registered citizens, from March 20 to March 23. Its margin of error is 3.5 number factors, plus or minus.

Trump has been the subject of investigations by Manhattanprosecutors. They are investigating actually fabricated business records pertaining to Michael Cohen‘s$ 130,000 paying for paying off Stormy Daniels at the time. During Trump’s campaign in 2016, the funding was reported as a genuine cost.
The grand jury in New York City may indict Trump as soon as this month. He would likely face charges next year, according to a lot of rumors.
