Chris Christie Suggests He’ll Run To Torpedo Trump In Primary
Chris Christie, a former governor of New Jersey, made the suggestion to an audience on Monday that he might run for president in 2024 to topple previous President Donald Trump.
Christie said the things while giving a speech at St. Anselm’s College in New Hampshire. In 2016, Christie ran more Republican campaigns in New Hampshire than any other member, and he was defeated it, forcing him to halt his strategy.
Christie remarked that Donald Trump was going after Sen. Marco Rubio( R-FL ) vehemently during the debates,” You better have someone on that stage who can do to him what I did to Marco, because that’s the only thing that can defeat him.” He may come up and attack you right away, so you need to be brave and have the skill to do it.
Christie predicted that” it won’t end well” and that Trump’s” side will not be a calm and quiet opinion.”
He continued,” And now, if I ran again, I don’t think I’d do it the same technique.” However, if I flee this day, I really hope that you reach a better decision than you did the previous day.
Christie’s comments” elicited giggles from the crowd ,” according to Mediaite.
Ron DeSantis, the former president and governor of Florida, is currently at the top of the Democratic nomination polls for 2024, despite the fact that the latter has not yet launched a system.
Christie stated to Fox News that he wanted to visit New Hampshire in order to speak with” people who I know are the best-informed voters in the country about things that I think are important to the world and to our country right now ,” as well as to observe their reactions to that and determine whether they share his opinion.
Christie added that he has” had a lot of useful conversations with sponsors over the course of the last few days ,” but that the man has not made any plans on whether or not to participate in the race.
" Conservative News Daily does not always share or support the views and opinions expressed here; they are just those of the writer."
