Biden reveals which states he is targeting in spending blitz — and 2024

President Joe Biden is already looking ahead to the 2024 presidential election, and he has identified several battleground states that he plans to target. These states include North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Arizona, and New York.

Biden recently launched his “Investing in America” tour in North Carolina, where he discussed the Inflation Reduction Act and how the spending package is critical to combating climate change and improving healthcare. He warned that if Republicans repeal the bill, voters in these critical states would suffer. However, Republicans in North Carolina warned the President that he would face stiff opposition from the state’s voters during his re-election campaign.

Biden has a 34% job approval rating in North Carolina, which is not an encouraging sign for his re-election campaign. Local Republican strategist Patrick Sebastian noted that Biden’s message is “not sticking because people just don’t believe it.” Sebastian predicts that Biden will struggle in North Carolina unless the Republican nominee is unelectable or the election is solely based on personality.

Despite the challenges, Biden remains focused on winning these battleground states. During his visit to North Carolina, he highlighted the private-sector manufacturing commitments made under his leadership. Arizona has had $58 billion, New York $48 billion, Georgia $31 billion, and Ohio $30 billion. Biden emphasized that these investments were critical to the country’s economic growth and job creation.

The President is facing criticism from Republican lawmakers who claim that Biden’s economic policies would hurt working-class Americans. They argue that inflation is rising uncontrollably, and the Inflation Reduction Act has done little to reduce it. As a result, Republicans are calling for the repeal of the bill and pushing for tax breaks for the wealthy.

The next Presidential election is still years away, but Biden is already laying the groundwork necessary for a successful re-election campaign. The President remains focused on winning key states such as North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, Arizona, and New York. These states are vital to his re-election prospects, and Biden is committed to winning them over.
