Twitter Bans Federalist CEO Sean Davis For Reporting On ‘Trans Day Of Vengeance’ Following Nashville Shooting
Following the shooting deaths of three kids and three employees at a Christian school in Tennessee, Federalist CEO Sean Davis was removed from his Twitter accounts on Tuesday night for falsely reporting on the” Trans Day Of Vengeance.”
A planned” Trans Day Of Vengeance” organized by the Trans Radical Activist Network was just days before the cold-blooded mass murder of an apparent transgender girl at a Christian school in Nashville, according to Davis.
Davis’ honestly accurate post, according to Twitter, violates the app’s guidelines” against violent speech.” Although Twitter has also deleted the post, it has warned Davis that his account will still be locked until he individually deletes it. Davis, on the other hand, is declining to take part in Twitter’s Usage re-education exercise.
Davis wrote in a speech,” This is purposeful censorship and deceiving designed to memory-hole the FACT that the Nashville shot targeted and murdered Christian children and teachers really years ahead of scheduled” Trans Day of Vengeance.” ” Twitter is defaming those of us who reported on the details and lying about them.”
Nashville drama demonstrates why it lacks compassion to stoke mental illness.
On Tuesday, other people were also subject to censorship, including Davis. For their coverage of the” Trans Day Of Vengeance ,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Daily Wire reporter Luke Rosiak also received punishment.
According to Twitter’s head of trust and safety, Ella Irwin, Twitter had to “automatically sweep our platform and remove >5000 tweets /retweets of [the ‘Trans Day of Vengeance’] poster.”
However, Davis didn’t include the banner with his speech. He made reference to a Daily Wire article on the subject that featured the bill in its excellent reporting.
Irwin continued,” We do not endorse tweets that encourage crime, regardless of who posts them. The word” retribution” does not imply nonviolent opposition. It’s acceptable to organize or assist in relaxing rallies.
It is still unclear how Davis’ objective reporting on a planned event could have” incit ] ed” violence. On its site, Twitter, meanwhile, has adopted a different strategy in response to actual violent threats. The news director for Arizona Governor on Monday With the caption” Us when we see transphobes ,” Katie Hobbs posted a GIF of herself getting ready to shoot guns on Twitter. The news secretary’s account appears to still be active even though Twitter it took it off the platform.
As Twitter bans anyone who does factual reporting about a planned Trans Day of Vengeance this week, note how it allows violent threats from Democrat Governor of Arizona Katie Hobbs' press secretary against anyone who opposes radical gender ideology. pic.twitter.com/7JFaDgbwYE

Irwin added that” the dreadful events in Nashville” are to blame for why the” Trans Day of Vengeance” bill wasn’t taken down from Twitter earlier.” The design was reported by a huge number of users across our platform monday.”
One user questioned whether Irwin paused to consider whether the” complaints” were” coming from the supporters of” Trans Day Of Vengeance” who didn’t want a living record of their calls for violence and retribution after the Tennessee shooting.” Irwin did not answer.
The graphic was reported by a high number of users across our platform yesterday and yes, I'm sure the timing of that was due to heightened sensitivity to the language, given the tragic events in Nashville. We always evaluate tweets driving a sudden spike in user complaints.

Early on Wednesday morning, Twitter rejected Davis’ request to have his account reinstated, resulting in a permanent ban from accessing it unless he removes the technically accurate message that Twitter had already deleted.
This isn’t the only instance of repression Davis has encountered while working for Musk-run Twitter. Since January 2021, Davis’ balance has been greatly shadowbanned, and CEO Elon Musk has taken no action to stop it. Musk, however, has really embraced shadowbanning, stating that” freedom of speech” does not entail” failure of reach.”
Similar to this, The Federalist’s John Daniel Davidson has been barred from Twitter for a full years for declaring that Rachel Levine, the transgender associate director for safety for the Biden administration, is male despite numerous appeals.
The scientific reporting censorship on Tuesday is yet another instance of Twitter failing to live up to Musk’s audacious” completely speech” brand campaign and a sign that bad actors are still choking the obnoxious and biased content-moderation team of the app.
