Growing Number of Voters Believe Joe and Hunter Did Something Unethical or Illegal
In a recent Fox News poll conducted over a four-month period, it was found that there is an increase in the number of voters who believe that President Joe Biden and his son Hunter did something illegal or unethical in relation to their family’s business. This increase follows the revelation made by James Comer (R-KY), the House Oversight Committee Chair, in March, which exposed that a Biden family business associate received a $3 million wire transfer from a Chinese energy company with links to the CCP. The Biden family received a collective $1.3 million cut in 2017 from this business associate. The committee also uncovered unreported funds received by the Biden family businesses while Joe Biden was Vice President. The Biden family has received over $31 million during his reign as Vice President.
Hunter has confirmed the $1.3 million China payout, while Joe Biden has denied it. According to the poll, 64 percent of voters believe that Joe Biden did something illegal or unethical, up from 62 percent in December 2021. The number of undecided voters decreased from 7 percent in December to 5 percent in March. Meanwhile, only 31 percent of voters say that Joe Biden “hasn’t done anything seriously wrong.” The data shows that the increase in the number of voters who believe that Joe Biden has done something wrong is also reflected in Hunter Biden’s polling data on the same question. The number of voters who believe that Hunter did something illegal or unethical has also increased over the past four months.
By convincing the undecided voters, the polling data suggests that Comer is winning the public relations battle against the White House, which has often refused to engage with the media. Comer has vowed to continue investigating the Biden family for nine violations to determine if Joe Biden is compromised by China for legislative purposes. He believes that the reason the family was receiving this money is because of favors that Joe Biden did as Vice President or President. He added that there will be more bank documents to be disclosed to the public in the coming months. The poll surveyed 1,007 registered voters from March 24-27 with a margin of error of three points.
