Rep. James Comer: Investigation Into Biden Corruption ‘Doesn’t Look Good For POTUS’
Rep. James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee (HOC), announced that several former associates of the Biden family have agreed to speak with Republicans about the corruption of President Joe Biden. In a Fox News interview, Comer warned that the investigation “doesn’t look good for @POTUS.”
The HOC is in discussions with four associates who have insider knowledge about the foreign dealings the Bidens had made with some of America’s political enemies. Two other associates, who are in litigation regarding their roles in Biden family businesses, may also provide testimony. Comer believes that this information could prove that the White House is compromised.
Comer said, “None of the businesses involving Joe Biden or Hunter Biden ever ended well. Any money transferred in from China or adversaries around the world ended up in the Bidens’ back pockets.” He further stated that the HOC now has possession of the Biden family’s “suspicious activity” reports from the Treasury Department and subpoenaed the family’s bank records, which will expedite the investigation drastically.
In March, the HOC confirmed that several Biden family members and companies linked to the family “collectively received $1.3 million in payments from accounts related to Rob Walker, a Biden family associate.” The payments were received within six months of Vice President Joe Biden leaving the White House after several bank transfers.
Comer said the HOC still did not know who the unnamed Biden was in the China transaction because the Biden family holds so many bank accounts and LLCs. He pointed out that sending money through several different LLCs to launder it before it is deposited into a Biden bank account appears suspicious. He expressed his optimism regarding the speed at which the investigation is progressing.
