Tennessee Republicans Boot Democrats Who Incited Insurrection From Committees, Threaten Expulsion
Three Democrats in Tennessee were ousted from their committee positions on Monday and may face expulsion from the legislature after they joined transgender and gun control activists who invaded the state capitol just days after a transgender gunman killed six Nashville Christian school attendees.
Reps. Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones, and Justin Pearson may face penalties for violating the General Assembly’s decorum standards after they were caught on camera on March 30th encouraging a rowdy crowd by shouting, jeering, and baiting lawmakers with the chants “no action, no peace.” The disturbance continued until leaders from both sides of the political spectrum needed to end legislative business and clear the galleries.
The mainstream media dismissed the disorder as a “peaceful protest.” But footage of the invasion of the state house reveals activists roughhousing Tennessee highway patrol officers who rushed to defend the building and lawmakers. They shouted “no peace,” and even honored the transsexual shooter who was killed by the police officers responding to the Covenant School shooting scene.
