Florida Police On The Hunt For Murderer After Three Teenagers Found Dead
Police in Ocklawaha, Florida, are searching for a murderer following the shooting deaths of three teenagers. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has discounted the possibility of a serial killer on the loose, but little information has been released about the investigation.
The first victim, 16-year-old Layla Silvernail, was found in a dumpster last Thursday, and died in hospital on Tuesday after being taken off life support. On Friday morning, the body of a 17-year-old boy was discovered on the side of the road. Later that day, a third victim, a 16-year-old girl, was found in a vehicle belonging to Silvernail, which had been partially submerged in a nearby lake.
Police are requesting public assistance with any information about the case. The names of the two other victims have yet to be released.
Speaking about the tragedy, Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods emphasized the need for accurate information about the case and cautioned against unverified speculation on social media.
