Trump Indicted On 34 Felony Counts Of Falsifying Business Records; Pleads Not Guilty
Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, has been indicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Specifically, he is accused of making illicit hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, a porn actress, and Karen McDougal, a Playboy model. The charges were unsealed in a Manhattan court where Trump was present and under arrest. However, he has pled not guilty to the allegations.
The presiding judge cautioned Trump against making inflammatory statements that could endanger officials’ well-being. Trump arrived in an 11-vehicle motorcade at approximately 1:30 p.m. EST at the Manhattan Criminal Courts Building. He shared a post on social media indicating that he found the proceedings surreal and incredible that such events could transpire in America.
Despite being under arrest, Trump is not expected to have his mug-shot taken or be handcuffed. His next court date is scheduled for December 4.
