Alvin Bragg Needs A Friend

The criminal charges against former President Donald Trump are causing a distance between Washington and New York elites with Alvin Bragg at the center of it all. You don’t have to be a legal expert to know that this is a strong case of criminal charges against Trump. But surprisingly, despite all his qualifications and the opportunity presented as the first man to prosecute a former US President, no major newspaper has swooned over him.

Alvin Bragg is a Democrat, fiercely opposing Trump and is a minority, yet he has not received any significant media recognition. His efforts are monumental, yet he is missing out on high-profile media opportunities that he should be getting. If Khizr Khan, The Squad, Liz Cheney, and even Michael Avenatti could get the media attention, why not Alvin Bragg?

Perhaps the media doesn’t believe Bragg’s legal fantasy or the seemingly non-existent victim of Trump’s allegedly lied business records to settle a personal matter. In the past, it was easier for individuals to partake in media’s Trump fame game by pointing out some plausible connection to Trump’s wrongdoings- which Bragg lacks.

Therefore, despite all his efforts, Bragg’s case against Trump falls short for plausible attention-grabbing headlines, and his reputation is suffering for it.
