Laura Hollis: No, John Bolton, We Will Not Vote for You
This year, John Bolton made a comment on the indictment of former President Donald Trump in the news. Bolton, a former U.S. national security adviser to Trump and former United Nations adviser under President George W. Bush, stated on CNN that the accusations made in the accusation brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg were” sometimes weaker” than he had anticipated.
To be clear, Bolton doesn’t mean to imply that he wants Trump to be found guilty and put behind bars. Bolton’s real’s concern, however, is that prices that are blatantly baseless, quickly dropped, or easily overturned in court will” rocket fuel” Trump in his bid for the presidency in 2024. ” Another who very strongly does not want Donald Trump to get the Republican presidential nomination ,” Bolton said on CNN. He has referred to Trump as” a cancer on the Republican Party ,” and he is concerned that a quick victory will support Trump’s assertion’s that the indictment is merely an election-related” witch hunt ,” which it is, and drive even more Americans to support his campaign.
Bolton is reportedly really thinking about running for president himself.
The fact that Bolton can assert that with a straight face is unmistakable proof of how many Republicans in what has come to be known as the” GOPe” or” GoP establishment” still don’t understand it.
Tens of millions of liberal Americans, who had happily voting for some 1990s-era GOP member if they could just be pulled out of Trump’s magnetic’s circle, have been hypnotized by Donald Trump, according to Republican Party Never – Trumpers like John Bolton.
My darling Mr. Bolton: You are mistaken, and that ship has already sailed.
Right-leaning Americans had purchased what GOP candidates had been selling for centuries prior to Trump running head-on into the Democratic establishment. Trump, however, tore the cover off the filthy D. C.” swamp ,” exposing a deep state populated by Uniparty Republicans and Democrats acting in their own best interests— the interests of the American people, be damned. By doing this, Trump has won over a sizable number of working-class Democrats, minorities, libertarians, and classical liberals in addition to millions of conservative Republicans.
Since no one has informed Mr. Bolton of the good information, I will deliver it: We will not support you in the election. or any” Republican” similar to you. We won’t voting for you because we can now see right through you.
We won’t support” forever war ,” which are started under false or fictitious reasons for the benefit of multimillion dollar defence companies and which result in no successes but nonetheless take the lives of our bravest and most noble young people.
We are tired of politicians and guidelines that give people in those countries explanations to despise us. We will not vote for haughty and hypocritical” nation-building” objectives that are so frequently used as justifications for those war, and for the numerous honest people who die in foreign lands where those endless conflicts take place.
We are sick of the phony promises made by irresponsible American politicians to those fighting for freedom in places where tyrants and terrorists genuinely rule, only to later turn those brave people over to their enemies.
We are sick of Republicans who won’t uphold our immigration laws because small businesses want cheaper labor, which lowers the wages of National workers, especially the working poor. We are sick of laws that hold foreigners who commit crimes on British soil accountable for their crimes, their repercussions, and their imprisonment. We are sick of China’s kowtowing’s, alcohol cartels’ control of our southern border, and the fentanyl torrent that kills thousands of us annually.
We are sick of” treaties ,”” conventions ,” and” trade agreements” that harm American consumers and workers while benefiting other nations and U.S. companies that offshore their production.
Republicans who refuse to fight for the treatment of substance abuse and mental illness, for punishing criminals, and for defending honest citizens are making us tired of them.
Democratic candidates who run ferocious campaigns only to gain the confidence of their beliefs and label it” bipartisanship” are getting on our nerves.
Every day Leftists in the media, education, or Hollywood refer to Republicans as racists, bigoters, haters, transphobes or some derogatory terms, we grow weary of them giving in to the most pressing social issues of the day.
Republicans who won’t fight for election integrity, private property rights, spiritual freedom, local leadership, personal autonomy( which entails medical autonomy in health care decisions ), individual responsibility, parental rights( the nuclear family ), child protection, school rigor, and teacher and administrator responsibilities are to be despised.
Republicans who make namby-pamby claims about Democrat” stories” but didn’t fight for the truth are getting on our nerves.
We are sick of Republicans who are willing to collaborate with communists, statist politicians, globalist activists, and environmentalists and who share the same egotistical conviction that regular Americans cannot manage their businesses, families, or world.
Republicans who don’t understand what the US Constitution says and lack the guts to stand up for it and the men it was written for are getting on our nerves.
Mr. Bolton, we have not seen any evidence that you will stand up for the causes we care about. Therefore, just because you more gently conceal your crimes and shortcomings than Trump does won’t convince us to support you.
The same is true for all the other like-minded, so-called conservative politicians, whose main claim to fame is that they are” not Trump.”
We won’t voting for any of you if that is all you have.
