GOP Urged to Denounce UN’s Alarmist Climate Change Report

EXCLUSIVE: A recent memo sent to every Republican member of Congress is urging lawmakers to dismiss the United Nations’ “alarmist report” on climate change.

Recently, U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres urged rich countries to increase their net-zero pollution target from 2050 to 2040. Republicans, however, were given talking points by the Competitive Enterprise Institute in a letter that disputed the UN’s’s results as well as the Biden administrations’ efforts to hasten the switch to solar energy.

The letter stated that” I wanted to draw your attention to three new events and challenges that you should be aware of as discussions about climate continues in light of the most recent alarming report from the United Nations about emissions and weather switch.”

The memo began by dissecting many assertions made by those who forewarn that catastrophic changes to both human and animal life will result from global warming. For instance, it cited a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration short-term project that indicates global temperatures peaked in 2015, almost ten years ago.

We are informed every day that every output warms the world despite this fact. It is obvious that is not the way. Until this paradox is resolved, we should never senselessly and dangerously proceed with risky and expensive emissions cuts, according to the memo.

The Energy Information Administration’s’s most recent article stated that the Biden management will also fall far short of its objective of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

According to the letter,” cutting net emissions to zero by 2050(‘ online zero’) are never happening, as both the light power industry and the Biden administration have immediately acknowledged.

Lastly, the letter displayed a number of climate change doomsday prophecies dating back to 1967 that were untrue.

The letter to the senator stated that” these three factors fairly question the wisdom of any rush to judgment on weather and / or the destroying of our energies network.”

With a new, slim lot, House Republicans are definitely making progress toward Biden’s’s clean energy goals. Supporters hailed President Biden’s’s$ 1.2 trillion Inflation Reduction Act as the biggest climate investment in history when it was passed last year.

The opposite opinion is shared by Guterres, who in March issued a dire caution regarding his body’s’s results regarding climate change. He declared,” Our world needs weather motion on all sides— it, everyday, all at once.”

However, a detailed energy bill was passed by House lawmakers last month, which they claim will lower family costs and reverse onerous fossil fuel industry regulations.
