Lindsey Graham says he would be ‘open to using U.S. forces to defend Taiwan’
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) kept the use of military force to defend Taiwan on the table as tensions with China rise.
Graham emphasized the importance of punishment and argued that the United States should intensify its efforts to arm the democratic island in response to a potential Chinese attack and increase its presence there.
