‘That’s Weird’: Jeremy Renner Reveals One Of His More Grotesque Injuries From Snow Plow Accident

“Hawkeye” actor Jeremy Renner recently made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where he discussed his ongoing recovery after a horrific snow plow accident that almost killed him over three months ago. Despite walking with a cane, Renner seemed to be doing well and even introduced his new Disney+ show “Rennervations” during the interview.

The studio audience gave Renner a standing ovation when host Jimmy Kimmel referred to him as “indestructible,” jokingly stating that he had “beat Thanos, Loki, and a 14,000 lb snow plow.” Renner then described the accident to Kimmel, stating that it felt like being under a “giant metal cookie roller” that missed every vertebrae and organ. However, he did sustain a few gruesome injuries, including his eye almost popping out.

Renner was airlifted from his home near Reno, Nevada after being almost completely crushed by the massive snowplow. During a recent interview with veteran journalist Diane Sawyer, he revealed that he had written his last words to his family when he thought he might not survive the accident. Despite this trauma, Renner stated that he would do it again if he had to, because he was protecting his nephew at the time.

Renner also admitted that he wasn’t sure what to expect during the early days of his injury, but that he feels lucky to have survived relatively intact. Despite the long road to recovery, Renner seems to be doing well and remains positive about the experience.
