What’s happening: Some Democrats and liberal pundits are calling for Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.) to step down due to her advanced age of 89, cognitive impairment and frequent health problems which are preventing the Senate from confirming President Joe Biden’s extreme left-wing judicial nominees.

Some context: Feinstein’s critics had already convinced her not to run for re-election in 2024, which is a good thing as we don’t need aged lawmakers in control of the country.

Despite calling for Feinstein’s resignation, many of the same people are advocating for a second term for President Joe Biden, who is already 80 years old.
