Nike Sponsors ‘Queer Youth Field Day’ Following Transgender Sponsorship Controversy

Nike, an athletic brand, is still involved in Left-wing politics, sponsoring a” Queer Youth Field Day” in the wake of the company’s’s partnership with highly contentious transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney to promote womens’ clothing.

According to a promotion for the event by OUTMemphis, participants in the Memphis-based event should identify as LGBTQ + or an” ally” of the movement and fall into the broad age range of 13 to 25 years old.

The group stated that the event is” free” and that all LGBTQ + youth and allies between the ages of 13 and 25 are invited to a free afternoon of games, music, giveaways, and good weather. ” We’ll’ll have bounce houses, obstacle courses, face painting, tie-dye, and more!” There will be plenty of drinking and snacks on hand to keep you hydrated for the entire afternoon, and our DJ did play some summertime hits! “”

Nike came under fire earlier this month when the corporation partnered with LGBT activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney, a man who claims to be a “girl.”

In a sponsored Nike advertisement, Mulvaney flaunted women’s’s leggings and an Alate sports bra, captioning the photo,” Home for the moment and leaning into cozy workout wear life with[ Nike Women ]] newest Zenvy legs and Analate bra! They are so cozy and creamy soft, making them ideal for both daily wear and exercise! “# feelyourall” and” teamnike” are partners.

Mulvaney performs deep blows in bare feet to music in an outdoor video showcasing women’s’s clothing.

Nike afterwards appeared to reprimand partners who had voiced concerns about the destruction of ladies.

” You are a crucial part of the success of your neighborhood!” In a pinned reply on its legal Instagram page, Nike stated. Be polite, be equitable, and support one another.” We welcome feedback that contribute to a positive and constructive review.”

The post continued,” Love speech, harassment, or other behaviors that are not in the life of a diverse and inclusive place will be deleted.”

Nike’s’s relationship with” woke” culture predates its collaboration with Mulvaney. The sport company announced in 2018 that it would be joining forces with national song kneeler Colin Kaepernick.

The initial advertisement featured a picture of Kaepernick with the phrase” Believe in anything, even if it means giving up it” superimposed on it.

Due to what he called the pervasive persecution of immigrants in the United States, the former NFL player famously kneeled during the national song. In 2016, Kaepernick declared,” I’m’m not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for one that oppresses black people and people of color.”

Since then, the athlete has asserted that his pale adoptive parents have fostered” racism” in their home.
