Meanwhile, between 22 and 149 kW of direct current( DC ) electricity were used at 6 216 fast charging points, an increase of 15 %.

According to the data, the number in the third category — 11 to 22 kW normal charging points running on alternating current ( AC ) for private and semi-public usage — rose by 34 % to 67, 288 units.

As of the end of 2022, the companies had 2.47 gigawatts( GW ) more power capacity for electric vehicles than they had the previous year, which was 1.74 GW.

Last October, public data revealed that 1.5 million entirely electric vehicles were in use.
