Mom Of Teen YouTube Star Sued For Abuse By Daughter’s Friends Heads To Court In $22M Civil Case

The mother of a teenage YouTube creator is set to be in court Monday following allegations of sexually, physically, and emotionally abusing 11 of her daughter’s friends and co-creators.

Tiffany Smith is the mother of 15-year-old YouTube star Piper Rockelle. The teen has more than ten million subscribers and nearly two billion views on her channel, which was demonetized in February 2022.

The lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, in January 2023. Plaintiffs are 11 former members of the “Piper Squad,” a group of teen YouTube creators who made vlog-style videos along with Piper to gain subscribers, per Business Insider

The team is suing Smith and Hunter Hill, alleging commercial exploitation in addition to personal and sexual discrimination. According to the lawsuit, Smith allegedly had improper contact with the youth and made sexually explicit comments to them.

The civil suit alleges that on one occasion, Smith asked one of the teens how long his penis was. She also allegedly told another YouTube creator that she was flat-chested, as The New York Post reported.

Because she allegedly said,” Old men like to smell this stuff ,” one creator asserted that she went to the post office with Smith to mail Piper’s’s old underwear to an unidentified recipient.

According to the lawsuit, Smith was also charged with inappropriately touching the young content creators’ legs, thighs, and buttocks and encouraging teen sexual aggression during video shoots.

The plaintiffs acknowledge that they were always promised any transaction but also claim they weren’t paid for taking part in the movie shoots.

According to the publication, Smith and Hill” largely and particularly” denied every allegation listed in the plaintiffs’ complaint last May.

Smith countersued for $30 million in July, claiming the plaintiffs’ mothers worked together to extort money by lying about the alleged sexual abuse. Smith dropped the countersuit shortly after, according to an NBC News report

The” Squad” teens staged tales with one another, according to one of the mothers of a father, which resulted in problems like online harassment and abuse.

Ashley Anne-Rock Smith stated,” I just want harmony with my children up.” The defendants in the lawsuit are Rockelle and Smith’s’s two daughters, who are also cousins.

Smith declared,” I want to prosecute all animals who harm young children.” ” I already hope that on these technologies that permit this, we move the knife.”
