As Chevron enters the last round, Golf – Americans Corpuz, Yin sit atop the ranking.

After two nearly perfect shows in the second round of the Chevron Championship on Saturday, American Allisen Corpuz and Angel Yin charged up the leaderboard to present a one-shot head at 10 under par.

Corpuz birdied on four of the first five pits at the Club at Carlton Woods near Houston before being forced to share the head after a missed putt forced her to sit for par on the last hole.

The 25-year-old said in a televised audience,” Been playing really strong these last three day.” I’ve’ve just been telling myself to” get more comfortable in contention, just keep learning from every experience ,” you know.

Yin( 67 ) was able to equal the effort with the help of six birdies and a bogey on par-5, but she also had some good old-fashioned luck in that her tee shot on 12 mysteriously bounced off the water hazard and onto the bank.

Yin, 24, said,” Highly surprised.” ” I believed I would receive the cards for that.”

Both players, who have never won an LPGA tour ahead, are aiming to win their first major championship on Sunday.

Yin said,” I know where my adventure is at.” I am aware of how it has been operating over the past three years and the game strategy for this golf course, and both have been successful.

All I have to do is regain some of my power, and I believe I’ll’ll be ready to go.

Amy Yang of South Korea put herself in a strong position when she shared third place with American Megan Khang( 70 ) and Swiss Albane Valenzuela( 68 ), who drained the long putt for the birdie on the final hole.

Yang has 19 top-ten finishes in the majors and demonstrated to the subject at the first women’s’s leading of the year why she is a perennial competitor with five strokes on the front nine and just one bogy on line 4 11.

In a televised interview, she remarked,” It was one of those times when it felt so simple and in update.” I simply gave it my all, was individual, and just had fun.

After starting on the back nine, South Korean Chun In-gee( 69 ) got the crowd going with an ace on par – 3 17. After a unsatisfactory six over line in the open square, she finished tied for 18th, seven strokes behind the head.

Early on Saturday, the next round of the competition came to an end after organizers were forced to stop use due to dark. Due to heavy over rain, the start of Friday’s’s actions was postponed by two hours.

Kim A Lim of South Korea, age 72, was at the top of the ranking after 36 holes, but she lost some of her talent on Saturday with bogeys on the par-3rd, par-4th, and par-15th holes.

With two rounds up from the top of the leaderboard, she finished the time tied for seventh with her fellow countrymen Choi Hye-jin and Kim Hyo-joo and American Nelly Korda.
