Joseph Edgar Foreman, a rapper from Mississippi who goes by the stage name” Afroman ,” has declared that he has completed the necessary paperwork to run for president.
The rapper, who was raised in Mississippi but was born in Los Angeles, is best known for his hit song” Because I Got High ,” which appeared on his album” The Good Times” in 2000. He became famous thanks to the track, which is still his most popular songs.
Afroman, who had formerly made hints about running for president in December 2022 during a music in Missouri, is immediately registered and running as an independent. He may possibly encounter high-profile opponents who are also seeking the presidency in 2024, including original President Joe Biden and 45th President Donald Trump.
Afroman’s’s campaign manager, Jason Savage, wrote on the election site explaining why the rapper chose to run for president.
” Change may be impacted at some point during the course of human events.” That moment is today. The status quo is no longer valid, and Americans are suffering. Savage penned. ” We require a member who is genuinely chosen by and for the people.” We require a guy who is able to take the initiative and head with confidence. The men are starving for a Commander in Chief who is motivated by love rather than hatred. We require a president who truly embodies the British ideal in these difficult times. Afroman is officially announced as an independent member for President of the United States of America, and it gives me the utmost respect and enjoyment to do so.
The singer also outlined the eight areas on which he will concentrate his campaign. ” Decriminalizing Cannabis, Criminal Justice Reform, Law Enforcement Reform ,” Halt of All Foreign Aid, Reparations, Unite, Love & Peace, More Sports Celebrations, and Legalization of Prostitution” are some of the priorities.
The website went on to say that” unscheduled and decriminalize cannabis” and” commuting” sentences for ALL non-violent cannabis offenders” would be his top priorities.
The rapper used a music video to promote his tours, brand, and social media. He is currently facing legal action from the Adams County Sheriff’s’s Office for using video of the raid that took place at his home.
The principal impartial to make a presidential campaign announcement for 2024 is Afroman.
