Morgan Wallen’s Label Shuts Down Rumor He Canceled Concert Because He Was ‘Too Drunk’
Morgan Wallen’s Record Label Denies Rumors of Intoxication
Country singer Morgan Wallen’s record label, Big Loud Records, has put an end to rumors that the star canceled a recent concert in Mississippi because he was “too drunk” to perform. The accusation was called “false” and “laughable” by the label and the security company BEST Crowd Management after a video surfaced on TikTok of a security guard claiming that Wallen was allegedly intoxicated and “couldn’t walk.”
The security company later corrected the employee’s statement, saying that “every detail was false.” Wallen himself explained that he had lost his voice and was unable to perform, and apologized to fans for the cancellation. The singer has since postponed three more shows due to doctor-ordered vocal rest.
False Claims and Postponed Shows
According to Page Six, the security guard’s story about Wallen “losing his voice is bullcrap.” The singer’s record label and security company both denied the rumors of intoxication, calling them “false” and “laughable.” Wallen himself explained that he had lost his voice and was unable to perform, and apologized to fans for the cancellation. The singer has since postponed three more shows due to doctor-ordered vocal rest.
