Marjorie Taylor Greene
(R-GA) for her insensitive comments about stepmothers not being real mothers.

During a House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic meeting, Greene made the comment to American Federation of Teachers President
Randi Weingarten,
who has stepchildren. Frost, who is a proud adoptee of two loving parents, gave a powerful rebuttal on the House floor.

“Let me be clear — I am their child. They are my parents,” Frost said. “And for bigoted, closed-minded reasons, certain folks have decided that people who adopt their children are lesser than.”

Frost Stands Up to Greene’s Ignorance

  • Frost tweeted at Greene, “F*** you and your bigoted questions.”
  • Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) called Greene’s comments “unacceptable.”
  • No members within the Republican Party have publicly condemned Greene’s comment.
