Controversial transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney recently complained about companies wanting to partner with him solely because he is transgender. In response, podcast host Megyn Kelly took to Twitter to criticize Mulvaney’s comments.

Kelly’s tweet read, “You tried that. It didn’t work. Then you declared you are ‘a girl’ & got corporate $$ galore. Now you want [people] to say what’s interesting about you is not your #womanface but the person behind it who was already rejected? How much pretending would you like us to do?”

Kelly’s remarks come after she previously slammed Mulvaney for complaining about being labeled as a man by some news outlets.

Mulvaney’s Comments

Mulvaney claimed that some brands ask him to relate his struggles growing up as a transgender person, which he finds unnecessary. He also expressed concern about entering the activist space or politics, fearing he may misspeak or provide incorrect information.

Mulvaney has also called for the arrest of people who call him a man, claiming that it should be illegal and is bad journalism.
