Bernie Sanders: Government Should Confiscate All Money Over $999 Million

During an interview with Chris Wallace on CNN’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) made a bold statement, saying that he believes all people-make-over-999-million-per-year/” title=”Bernie Sanders Calls For Confiscating All Money People Make Over 9 Million Per Year”>money people make over $999 million per year should be confiscated by the government.

Wallace questioned Sanders, asking if he was saying that billionaires should not exist and if the government should confiscate all the money over $999 million. Sanders responded by saying that the country should go back to a very progressive tax policy like what was in place under Dwight D. Eisenhower.

“Yeah,” Sanders responded. “You may disagree with me, fine. Yeah, I think people can make it on $999 million.”
