Ted Cruz Pushes Death Penalty For Illegal Alien Accused Of Murdering 5 In Texas

Sen. Ted Cruz Calls for Death Penalty for Illegal Alien Accused of Murdering Five Neighbors

In response to a tweet from Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) pushed for the death penalty for Francisco Oropesa, an illegal alien accused of murdering five neighbors. The victims had asked Oropesa to stop shooting his gun because they had a sleeping baby. Cruz called for justice and for Oropesa to never see sunlight again if convicted. He also criticized President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for opening the borders and allowing six million illegal immigrants to cross, resulting in “death and carnage.”

Reward Offered for Information Leading to Oropesa’s Arrest

San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers announced a $55,000 reward for information leading to Oropesa’s arrest, and the FBI added $25,000 to the reward. Texas Governor Greg Abbott also announced an additional $50,000, bringing the total to $130,000. Despite the rewards, Capers said they have zero leads on Oropesa’s whereabouts.

New Photos of Oropesa Released by FBI

The FBI’s field office in Houston released new photos of Oropesa on Sunday afternoon, showing him in different clothing and appearing to be in a government facility in each photo. The investigation remains fluid, and law enforcement officials are continuing their efforts to find Oropesa.
