RNC Chairwoman: China is Running the Biden Administration

The Republican National Committee Chairwoman, Ronna McDaniel, has claimed that China is running the Biden administration. Speaking on Fox News Sunday, McDaniel expressed voters’ concerns about the Biden administration’s indebtedness to the communist nation. She called for party unity to oppose President Joe Biden’s agenda, which she believes is detrimental to the country.

China’s Influence on the White House

McDaniel highlighted several ways in which China is influencing the White House, including the fentanyl crisis, TikTok’s data collection, and the sale of Strategic Petroleum Reserves to China. Critics have accused the Biden administration of taking a soft approach to China, with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm praising China’s energy and climate policies last month.

The National Security Council also reiterated claims that the Chinese spy balloon that flew across the country in February gathered very little intelligence, despite NBC News reporting that it had collected data from multiple sensitive American military installations and transmitted that information back to China “in real time.”

Recent Arrests and Calls for a Constructive Relationship

Recent arrests of two people in New York for allegedly operating an illegal “police station” for the Chinese Communist Party have raised concerns about China’s influence in the US. However, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen called for a “constructive” and “healthy” relationship between the US and China last week.
