Former U.S. Marine Killed While Volunteering in Ukraine

A former U.S. Marine, Cooper “Harris” Andrews, was tragically killed while evacuating civilians in war-torn eastern Ukraine. Andrews, 26, was hit by a mortar on or around April 19 while on the “Road of Life” in Bakhmuta. Andrews was volunteering with the Resistance Committee and joined the Foreign Legion in Ukraine, a group of foreign fighters helping the Ukrainian military, in November last year.
