Elon Musk Announces New CEO for Twitter
Twitter owner Elon Musk has finally found a new CEO for the social media platform, and he made the announcement via Twitter, of course. Musk revealed that he had hired a woman for the job, but did not disclose her name. He did, however, mention that she would be starting in just six weeks.
Musk’s Transition
Musk also shared that his role would be transitioning to executive chair and CTO, where he will oversee product, software, and sysops. This move comes after Musk admitted that remaining CEO permanently may not be the best situation for him. In fact, he even polled Twitter users in December of last year, asking if he should step down as CEO. The majority voted yes, and Musk promised to resign as soon as he found someone “foolish enough” to take the job.
