Carroll may sue Trump again for CNN town hall.

Woman Who Won $5 Million Judgment Against Trump Considers Another Lawsuit

E. Jean Carroll, who was sexually assaulted and defamed by former president Donald Trump, may pursue another lawsuit after he dismissed her claims on CNN this week.

Carroll’s lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, stated that “everything’s on the table” regarding another lawsuit against Trump. The decision will be made in the next day or so.

Trump was found liable on Tuesday for sexually abusing Carroll in the 1990s and was ordered to pay $5 million in damages, which he is currently appealing. Carroll is now pursuing a second lawsuit over comments Trump made when the story first surfaced in 2019.

During the town hall, Trump called Carroll a “whack job” and insisted her claims were false. Some of his remarks were met with laughter from the audience.

Carroll called the comments “just stupid” and “disgusting, vile, foul, and it wounds people.”

The town hall drew criticism from liberals for giving Trump a platform.
