Police probe ‘suspicious death’ after body discovered in Arby’s freezer.

Dead Body Found in Arby’s Walk-In Freezer in Louisiana

A shocking discovery was made in an Arby’s restaurant in New Iberia, Louisiana this week. A dead body was found in the walk-in freezer, belonging to a manager of the restaurant. Police are currently investigating the incident, but believe it to be an accident.

Unusual Circumstances

The body was discovered by an employee around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Iberia Police Captain Leland Laseter, the head of criminal investigations, stated that “a situation like this is unusual, so we’re taking extra precautions during the investigation.”

Laseter added that while the death did seem “suspicious,” there was no evidence of foul play. The police are still waiting for medical examiners to determine the cause of death.

Arby’s Response

Arby’s released a statement in response to the news, stating that they would be cooperating with police and deferring any comment to investigators. “Due to this being an active investigation, we defer any further comment to the police department,” the statement read.

Previous Incident

Last year, an Arby’s in Washington made headlines after police discovered videos of a night manager urinating in milkshake mix. The man was being investigated for child pornography at the time.
