DeSantis to announce presidential bid with Elon Musk.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Enters 2024 Presidential Race with Elon Musk

Hold on to your hats, folks! The 2024 presidential race just got a whole lot more interesting. Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is officially throwing his hat in the ring this week, and he’s doing it in style with a special event featuring none other than Twitter owner Elon Musk.

Twitter Talk with DeSantis and Musk

The conversation between DeSantis and Musk is set to take place on Twitter at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and it’s already generating buzz. Republican donor David Sacks, a close ally of Musk and supporter of DeSantis, will moderate the discussion.

The Daily Wire can confirm that the reports are accurate. Musk himself seemed to confirm the news by retweeting a Fox News reporter who shared the story.

According to a source close to Musk, the tech mogul believes that former President Donald Trump is not capable of winning the White House in 2024, but DeSantis is. “He’s interested in the future, and he’s interested in winning again,” the source said.

DeSantis, who is just 44 years old, will file paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to officially launch his campaign after the Twitter event.

First Post-Announcement Interview on Fox News

Following the Twitter event, DeSantis is expected to appear on Fox News for his first post-announcement interview with Trey Gowdy at 8 p.m. EST on “Fox News Tonight.”

According to a source close to Musk, DeSantis’ announcement with Musk will “trump the manner in which other candidates have announced because the event will be seen by larger audience.”
