Could a 2024 Rematch Between Biden and Trump Be Fatal?

Independent journalist and podcast host Megyn Kelly has raised concerns about the potential risks of a 2024 rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. In a recent episode of her Sirius XM podcast, Kelly pointed out that both men are at an age where almost anything could happen. Biden, who would be 86 years old by the end of a potential second term, and Trump, who is currently 76, would both be in their 80s during the next election cycle.

During the podcast, Kelly discussed Senator Tim Scott’s official entry into the 2024 Republican presidential primary with guests Emily Jashinsky and Eliana Johnson. Jashinsky suggested that Scott may have a chance if Trump drops out for some unforeseen reason. However, Kelly took things a step further, saying, “You know what’s crazy is if it winds up being Trump, Biden in the contest, forgive me, but they could both die.”

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who lost to Trump in 2016, has also warned voters to consider Biden’s advanced age as a factor in the upcoming election. “His age is an issue, and people have every right to consider it,” she told Financial Times editor Edward Luce.
