Joe Biden to give U.S. Air Force Academy commencement speech live.

President Biden to Deliver Commencement Address at Air Force Academy

Exciting news for the graduating class of the United States Air Force Academy! President Joe Biden will be delivering the commencement address on Thursday, making him the ninth sitting president to do so at the academy.

Biden previously spoke at the Air Force Academy in 2009 and 2014 as vice president.

The ceremony will take place in El Paso County, Colorado, where a total of 919 men and women will be graduating. This is not the first graduation ceremony that President Biden has spoken at this year. He also delivered a speech at Howard University’s graduation ceremony on May 13 in Washington, D.C.

Biden’s Impressive Track Record

President Biden has a long history of giving commencement addresses at various institutions. In addition to the Air Force Academy and Howard University, he has also spoken at the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, South Carolina State University, and the University of Delaware, his alma mater.

Timing is Everything

President Biden’s visit to Colorado coincides with Congress working to pass a bill that will raise the debt limit and prevent the U.S. from defaulting on its loans. The House passed the bill on Wednesday and sent it to the Senate, with a vote expected as early as Friday but that could possibly go into the weekend.

Don’t miss out on this historic event! The commencement address will begin at 11:30 on Thursday.
