California crime spree suspect arrested, three dead and three injured.

Suspect Arrested After Deadly Crime Spree Across Northern California

A suspect has been arrested after a crime spree across northern California left three people dead and at least three others injured, two of whom have life-threatening injuries.

The hourslong deadly rampage on Thursday began in San Jose in the afternoon and continued into Milpitas. The suspect is accused of stabbing pedestrians and driving into others with a stolen vehicle.

Multiple Attacks

San Jose police said two separate stabbing attacks occurred within minutes of each other at about 3 p.m. Pacific time. Police arrived at the first location and found a victim with life-threatening injuries, and officers were then called to a second location, where a second victim had life-threatening injuries after being stabbed and having their car stolen.

Police said as the suspect drove away in the vehicle, they hit a pedestrian. That victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.

Shortly after, the suspect, still driving the stolen vehicle, struck and killed two adult pedestrians, police said, according to local outlet ABC7.

Arrest Made

At about 4:30 p.m., in Milpitas, a deadly stabbing occurred, and police in the city announced they had arrested a suspect, finding them “hiding in a residential neighborhood close to where the stabbing occurred.” The two police forces were quick to communicate and tell the public they believe the cases may be related.

The investigations are still in their early stages. Milpitas police told the public there is no longer any threat to the community.
